Random Reflections with Kim: The Sun Always Rises
As I look out my window this morning, I'm reminded of something very simple: the sun always rises.
Some days you wake up and it’s bright and clear. Other days it’s completely covered by clouds and you’d swear it forgot to show up. But it didn’t. It’s still there, doing its thing, whether you can see it or not.
Going through something tough can feel a lot like that. When something isn’t working or feels heavier than it should, it’s easy to think, “Is this just how it’s going to be?”
I’ve been there. And every time, eventually, the clouds move. Sometimes slowly. Sometimes all at once. But they always move.
If you’re in the middle of something tough right now, whether personal, professional, or otherwise, this is your reminder that today does not get the final word. Tomorrow still shows up. So does the next idea, the next opportunity, the next small win.
You don’t need to have it all figured out today. Just keep going. The sun’s still there.
